I picked Aaron Hulbert as my Local Austin photographer. Aaron is a young photographer that is not
native to Austin but seems to have blended in quite well here in Austin. Aaron's
is often shooting nature or everyday items, like bridges etc. He shoots them with a fresh eye and
perspective that I appreciate. Aaron
seems to like to work with natural lighting and catching things at a different
angle. What I happen to like most about Aaron is that he is my older brother
and he inspires me to try and look at life from a new lens and appreciate nature.
I picked this photo as Aaron's use of natural light and the way the sun is streaming through the trees, adds extra quality to what would generally be seen as a man sitting on a bench, boring. Yet the angle of the light and they angle of the photo makes this one very nice photo to enjoy.
I picked this photo as it is beautiful to look at. I love the angle, the clarity. The water looks almost unreal in this picture. The lines in the rock and the colors are so crisp and clear.
I chose this one for similar reasons as the one before it. The coloring is nice to look at. The mans hair matches the background almost. I like the red hair flying through the still air of the photo. Nice quality, nice coloring, great use of nature and natural light.
I picked this picture as it is a very different compilation. Again Aaron uses nature to make the normal look unique and eye catching. Rain, water, leaves and a person all pushed up against a glass window, yet this picture kept making me look at it again and again.

I picked this picture as once again Aaron photographs something that is just sitting out in nature yet the coloring, the angle the mist etc makes it look almost mystical and unreal.
